Beth Reed

OWNER ⬩ LEAD DESIGNER
VICE PRESIDENT, ARKANSAS CHAPTER OF INTERIOR DESIGN SOCIETY, IDS

Beth Reed is a passionate designer who has a natural instinct for detail and style. After working for notable companies like Williams and Dean Architects and Salter Properties, Beth decided to start her own boutique interior design agency in 2017 in Conway, Arkansas.  Since then, she has gained a reputation of helping clients transform their spaces into beautiful and functional works of art.

Beth has extensive experience working with architects and construction companies to create stunning designs for commercial, residential, multifamily housing projects. Her focus on personalized, luxe, and functional designs make her a great choice for high-end boutiques, restaurants, salons, and apartment complexes.

When she isn't designing, she spends time with her husband, Neal, two kiddos Brooks & Reilly, and lovable AussieDoodle, Copper!

  1. How would you describe your own personal design style?

I would say that my style is classic, glamorous, and effortless. The most beautiful rooms aren’t just filled with pretty things, but they are also personal and inviting.

It is very important to me that my clients’ homes and work spaces should function well and be a true reflection of their lifestyle. I strive to deliver unique designs based on my client’s goals. I truly value my clients’ opinions, but never shy away from offering new and exciting directions to meet their objectives. This allows me to produce impressive end results that are not only beautiful spaces but are true reflections of our clients so they can flourish.

  1. What's one trend or design element you're loving right now?

Ceiling details! Every opportunity I get I try to add detail to the ceiling. Depending on the space, I may use a large scale wallpaper, dark paint, wood accents or decorative coffered designs. This helps add depth and texture without overpowering a room. In my own office, I used a black and white wallpaper of peonies! When I found the wallpaper, I fell in love, but the flowers were small so I enlarged the scale. My ceiling is edgy, yet it reminds me of painting by numbers as a kid.

  1. What's your go-to trick for an easy update in one room of the house?

Add new lighting! Lighting can literally brighten a room, it also adds beauty to an otherwise blank canvas too. You can easily find great lamps at your favorite retail shop or be daring and add new chandeliers, pendants or sconces!

  1. What do you provide to your clients?

As projects grow from dream to reality, we assist in parts of the process that other designers might not understand, like reviewing architectural drawings, creating cabinetry layouts, or helping design a staircase. “I envision the big picture, communicate well with contractors, and enjoy seeing each project through to the end. From selecting finishes, light fixtures to ordering and installing furniture.”
